Twitter has a per-account limit of 350 requests per hour.
This means that while we are downloading information about your account we can only make around 350 requests every hour.
This works out to data on around 35,000 users every hour. Accounts with less connections than this should load quickly, otherwise it may take several hours to load your account. We use several caching mechanisms that mean that we generally have to download a lot less data than this.
